Auto Annotation allows you to automatically annotate a sequence by scanning an unannotated, or partially annotated, sequence against a folder of your favorite "curated" sequences. Where MacVector finds a matching feature (or partial match) it will add that feature, complete with feature appearance information, to the test sequence. As well as adding features, you can also choose to update existing features to match the appearance of existing features only, as shown in the Map View and customized in the Symbol editor.
