Analyze Menus

The Analyze menu lists the analyses that can be performed on sequence windows. When the frontmost window contains a nucleic acid sequence, MacVector will only enable those menu commands that specify analyses for nucleic acid sequences. Likewise, when the frontmost window contains a protein sequence, MacVector will only enable those menu commands that specify analyses for protein sequences. When the frontmost window contains results from an analysis, the only enabled menu command will be that that corresponds to the analysis from which the results came.

Selecting a command from the Analyze menu when a sequence editing window is active will tell MacVector to begin a new analysis. Selecting a command from this menu when a results window is active will (for analyses that have a display phase) tell MacVector to filter and display the results again.
