In addition to editing and analyzing sequence data, MacVector enables you to annotate a sequence with information on its source, any relevant literature citations, keywords, or just pertinent comments. Annotations can be accessed by selecting the Annotations tab.
MEDLINE abstracts can also be retrieved directly from the Annotation window, by double-clicking on any of the references that contains a MEDLINE ID.
