The Edit menu contains the standard Macintosh editing commands, such as Cut, Copy, Paste. There are also several other commands specific to sequence data, such as Reverse and Complement, or to sequence alignments, such as Add New Sequence. In addition, this menu contains the Find command, which enables you to perform powerful text string searches on a sequence, or its features, and the Jump to command for repositioning the cursor.
