Close

The Close command closes the active window. If changes have been made to the window since it was last saved and no other Replica windows are open, an alert box will ask you if you want to save the changes, discard them, or cancel the Close command. However, if there are other open Replica windows then you will only be prompted to save when closing the last window. Closing the remaining sequence window will also automatically close any results windows associated with that sequence.

- You can close all visible windows by using the OPTION key and closing the current window by clicking the round, red button in the upper-left corner.

- You can close all open files by using the OPTION key and choosing FILE | CLOSE ALL.

- Whenever you close a sequence editing window the current state of the window is remembered. This includes the selection range, how the sequence is blocked, whether the sequence is being displayed as double- or single-stranded and whether the Voice Verify option is set. When you subsequently open the file, all these settings are automatically restored. This restoration occurs whether or not changes have been explicitly saved when the window is closed.
