The New command displays a hierarchical menu that enables you to create a new, untitled editing window for any one of 11 MacVector file types:
- nucleic acid sequence
- protein sequence
- nucleic acid alignment
- protein alignment
- restriction enzyme
- proteolytic enzyme
- nucleic acid subsequence
- protein subsequence
- DNA scoring matrix
- protein scoring matrix
If you have Assembler installed, then you will also be able to create a new Contig Assembly Project.
