The Compare Genomes tool will compare two related annotated genomes (or smaller sequences) to identify and list, in spreadsheet form, identical, similar and weakly similar features along with missing features.
The results will show.
- Genes present in A but not B
- Genes that are present in both and are identical
- Genes that are present in both, but have minimal differences.
- Genes that are present in both but have significant differences.
