How to do an online keyword search for sequences.

The quickest way to get started with MacVector is to open up your favourite sequence from the Entrez database.

1. go to DATABASE | ONLINE SEARCH FOR SIMILAR SEQUENCES (ENTREZ).
2. Type the required search text. For example if you know the accession number use that.
3. Click Search.
4. In the results double click the best hit to download it.
