This preferences pane is used to change the color used in various areas of MacVector.
Sequences
- Reference: This is the reference sequence in the Align to Reference editor and Assembler.
- Complement: The color used to display the reverse complement "3' to 5'" in the sequence editor.
- Numbering: the colour of the residue numbering in the Editor tab tab.
- Left/right end: the colour of compatible ends used in the Ligation dialog.
Traces
The "traditional" colors for displaying the plots representing bases are used. However, these can be modified to improve clarity.
Sequence Editor
Features can be represented directly on the sequence in the Editor tab of the Single Sequence editor. This is configured in this pane.
