This dialog allows you to browse a Vector NTI database and to import protein and DNA sequences directly from that database.
1 Open DATABASE | VECTOR NTI IMPORT...
2. Click the Choose.. button and navigate to the Vector NTI database folder and click OK.
The OK button will be disabled until a valid Vector NTI database is chosen
3. Switch between protein and nucleic acid sequences with the Sequence Type dropdown menu.
4. Select a sequence or sequences
5. Select TO DESK to open sequences directly.
6. Select TO DISK and select a location to save the files to disk without opening them.
